Dr. Shannon - So Ashley, tell me about your first week.
-Today was my appointment with Dr. Shannon, my therapist who's supposedly helping me with my anger issues. Normally I'd have been sitting in the chair across from her, but today I stood at her ceiling to floor glass window. We were on the 5th floor of a large office building. The view of the city below was actually quite interesting. My focus however was not on this therapy session, it was not on the city below, it was on Layla. The woman I'd be facing on Smackdown for the championship.-
Ashley Devlin - What?
Dr. Shannon - I said tell me about your first week. How did you do?
Ashley Devlin - Oh, I won. I pinned this chick named Layla.
Dr. Shannon - How did it feel?
Ashley Devlin - I hate to say this Doc, but you had a point I think. Being able to unleash all those frustrations, all that anger, it was wonderful.
Dr. Shannon - What did you do when it was over?
Ashley Devlin - I went to the bar and celebrated. I got super drunk, smoked a pack of cigarettes, would have had some sex had I found some one who was decent and I wasn't afraid would look like the elephant man in the morning.
-Dr. Shannon shakes her head a little bit scribbling some notes down in her notebook.-
Dr. Shannon - Do you have a match this week?
Ashley Devlin - I do, it's against Layla again. This time it's for the championship. Who would have thought...I'm getting a reward for beating the shit out of somebody!
Dr. Shannon - As long as you remember you aren't there to truly hurt her. You are there to just release yourself and win a match.
Ashley Devlin - Yeah, yeah same difference. Still though...I'll have a belt and everything.I don't really understand the whole magnitude of it, but the idea of getting a prize for beating some one up really sounds appealing. I'm looking forward to it.
Dr. Shannon - Listen Ashley....
Ashely Devlin - Actually Doc, I need to get going. I have to catch my flight out.
Dr. Shannon - (sighing) Same time next week Ashley. Don't forget.
Ashley Devlin - Maybe I'll bring my prize with me and you can see it.
-I reach over the back of the chair that holds my purse and head out the door waving behind me before Dr. Shannon can say anything more.-
